Welcome to Miss Gina’s Dance Classes!

We have many class options, so be sure to read the descriptions carefully. All classes will be overseen by Gina Curl. The teaching team includes Miss Gina, Miss Bailey, Miss Hunter, and Miss Laura.

Cost per class:

  • Members: $25/month
  • Non-Members: $40/month

DANCE CLASS OFFERINGS & DESCRIPTIONS

Tuesday

5:00-5:30 Beginning Ballet/Jazz Ages 2-3

This class is for students who have never had dance or will not stay in room without parent. This is the only classroom that is not closed for parents. We will focus on the positions of dance and very basic technique as well as a dance for the recital.

6:00-6:30 Beginning Dance Fusion Ages 4-6 

This class is for first year students that will stay in classroom without a parent OR second year students that need a little extra help. We will focus on the basic positions of dance, learn very basic hip-hop steps, improve jazz dancing, and develop technique as well as learn a dance for the recital.

6:30-7:15 All Boys Class Ages 4+

We will be working on hip-hop tricks, lifting, and basic acrobatics.

6:30-7:15 Intermediate Dance Fusion Ages 6+

This class is for students who have had dance before and can grasp routines. We will focus on the positions of dance, learn basic hip-hop steps, improve jazz dancing, and develop technique as well as learn a dance for the recital.

7:20-7:50 Beginning Pom

This class is for students who have never taken Pom before or are still at the beginner-intermediate level in this genre. Students must be able to stay in room without a parent and maintain focus for 30 minutes in this additional class.

7:50-8:25 Beginning Hip-Hop

This class is for students who have never taken hip-hop before or are still at the beginner-intermediate level in this genre. Students must be able to stay in room without a parent and maintain focus for 30 minutes in this additional class.

8:30-9:00 Beginning Acro Dance

This class is for students who have never taken acrobatics/gymnastics classes before or are still at the beginner-intermediate level in this genre. This class will focus on basic flexibility, acrobatic tumbling, and strength building.

Wednesday

5:30-6 Ballet Ages 3-4

This class is for second or third year dancers. These students must be able to stay in the room without a parent.

5:30-6:00 Theatre and Music Class Ages 5+

These students will learn acting and some singing. They will be the narrators of the play during the Christmas recital. This is a great self-esteem building class and something new we are offering this year.

6:00-6:30 Advanced Fusion Ages 5+

This class is for students who have had dance before and can grasp routines. We will focus on more challenging positions of dance, learn hip-hop steps, improve jazz dancing, and develop upper level technique as well as learn a dance for the recital.

6:00-6:30 Advanced Acro Dance

Requirements for this class include a cartwheel, headstand, and somersault. This class is for students who have taken acrobatics/gymnastics classes before. This class will focus on flexibility, acrobatic tumbling, and strength building. Skills developed in this class include handstands, freezes, scorpions, and advanced positions in dance.

6:30-7:00 Advanced Hip-Hop

This class is for students who have had hip-hop before and can grasp routines. We will focus on learning more challenging hip-hop steps, tricks, and develop strength as well as learn a dance for the recital.

7:00-7:30 Advanced Pom

This class is for students who have had Pom class before and can grasp routines. We will focus on learning more challenging Pom motions, technique, and develop strength as well as learn a dance for the recital.

7:30-8:15 Advanced Dance

This class is for students who have had dance several years before and can grasp routines. We will focus on learning advanced dance steps, tricks, and develop strength as well as learn a dance for the recital.

7:30-8:15 Invitation Only Dance

This class will be taught by Miss Gina.

8:20-8:50 Beginning Tap Ages 4+

This class is for the dancer just starting out. We will separate if age gap or learning potential is too extreme. 

8:20-8:50 Lyrical/Contemporary

This class is for students who have had dance several years before and take it very seriously. We will focus on learning advanced lyrical dance steps, lifts, and develop strength in technique as well as learn a dance for the recital.

Mom Sessions!

9:00-9:30 Mom Drop-In Class $5/Class

This Wednesday class is new this season. Each class will be a different theme and style of dance. We hope to have a lot of fun and relieve stress with our dance moms.

Each student may perform in a maximum of THREE dance style/classes in the December Recital.
