• April 17, 2010Family health is a priority for the YMCA. The YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a nationwide celebration of children’s health and fitness. The activities throughout the event are designed to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage families to spend time getting and staying healthy together.

The Cass County Family Y will be hosting the 1st Annual Shamrok Shuffle! It is a 5k run and 5k walk with a 1 mile fun run! Awards will be given to runners and walkers! The first 250 participants will receive a Long Sleeve T-Shirt and enjoy a fun enviroment during and after the race realx and visit with friends while you enjoy a post race lunch! The Cass County Family Y will be hosting the 15th Annual River City Triathlon to be held on June 12th, 2010, at France Park. The Triathlon will consist of a 500 yard quary swim, 14.4 mile scenic bike, and a 3.3 mile trail run! Registrations will be taken unitl 7:15am the day of the race. 5-7pmHalloween at the Y is a fun family event and a great way to enjoy Halloween in a safe, supervised environment. Children can participate in several spooky games and contests and receive many prizes. Each child dressed in costume will receive a goody bag filled with surprises.
• Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 25th) 2010, 8:00 am Chip Timing!!!Located at the Cass County Family YMCA, this 4-mile race is a great way to get some exercise before you enjoy your holiday feast. The Turkey Trot entry fee is $15 before November 23rd and $18 on or after November 24th. The cost of the race does include a Long SleeveT-Shirt!!!
