Family health is a priority for the YMCA. The YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a nationwide celebration of children’s health and fitness. The activities throughout the event are designed to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage families to spend time getting and staying healthy together.

• March 13th, 2010 - 9:00am - at the Cass County Family Y  Chip Timing!   

 The Cass County Family Y will be hosting the 1st Annual Shamrok Shuffle! It is a 5k run and 5k walk with a 1 mile fun run! Awards will be given to runners and walkers! The first 250 participants will receive a Long Sleeve T-Shirt and enjoy a fun enviroment during and after the race realx and visit with friends while you enjoy a post race lunch! June 12th, 2010- 8:00am - at France Park - New Chip Timing!!!!

 The Cass County Family Y will be hosting the 15th Annual River City Triathlon to be held on June 12th, 2010, at France Park. The Triathlon will consist of a 500 yard quary swim, 14.4 mile scenic bike, and a 3.3 mile trail run! Registrations will be taken unitl 7:15am the day of the race. THe 1st Annual 2 Rivers on 2 Wheels was a success! We had 138 participants and a beautiful day! Thanks to all Sponsors and Volunteers to help make this event such a success, we wouldnt be able to do it without you! More information can be found at www.2riverson2wheels.org.

Halloween at the Y is a fun family event and a great way to enjoy Halloween in a safe, supervised environment. Children can participate in several spooky games and contests and receive many prizes. Each child dressed in costume will receive a goody bag filled with surprises.

• Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 25th) 2010, 8:00 am   Chip Timing!!!
Located at the Cass County Family YMCA, this 4-mile race is a great way to get some exercise before you enjoy your holiday feast. The Turkey Trot entry fee is $15 before November 23rd and $18 on or after November 24th.
